To provide innovative leadership to the pharmacy team through the:
• Delivery of a high standard service in a busy environment
• Promotion of excellent pharmaceutical care for all patients
• Provision of information to patients who use the pharmacyservice, promoting the safe and effective use of their medication
The post holder will maintain and develop the highest standards ofpatient-focused care supporting safe and effective use of medicines andbe expected to use their experience and initiative to develop the roleand assist leading the department forward with respect to its service provision.
As an active member of the Pharmacy Leadership Team, the post-holderwill assist with the quality, governance, and assurance of pharmacyservices. They will assist with monitoring all aspects of the pharmacyservices with the aim of ensuring that all relevant standards,professional statutory and operation are assured as compliant.
The post holder will play a major role in the continuous development ofmembers of the Pharmacy and multidisciplinary team and a range ofquality/process improvement project groups
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING Bachelor in Clinical Pharmacy or Pharmacy. Master or above is desirable Minimum 4 years related working experience with Master/PhD, 6 yearsrelated working experience with bachelor Pharmacist License or above byMinistry of Health Good spoken and written English and Chinese Computer literate Narcotic license by ministry of health is desirable Working experience in tertiary hospital pharmacy or internationalhospital pharmacy is desirable Clinical Pharmacy related qualifications is desirable Experience in a clinical specialist area – e.g. experience in ICU,Paediatrics or Antibiotics is highly desirable SPHERE OF INFLUENCE Able to liaise with Consultants, Clinical Managers, staff and patientseffectively and professionally.
RISK AND RESPONSIBILITY Maintain a high level of clinical practice in accordance with legal andprofessional requirements and to be responsible for own practise, inaccordance with professional and hospital guidelines /protocols.Maintain confidentiality. Encourages evidence based practice. Able to carry out and follow up clinical risk assessments and management.
