DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Continuing Professional Education
1.1 Participates in identifying learning needs of UNEs, preceptors,assessors and other nurses.
1.2 Develops, plans, delivers and evaluates orientation programmefor new nurses.
1.3 Develops, plans, delivers and evaluates continuing professionaltraining activities to address learning needs.
1.4 Ensures the effective delivery of continuous professionaldevelopment education and training activities/programme.
1.5 Provides coaching and clinical supervision to UNE, preceptorsand assessors in aspects of work related to education.
1.6 Adopts simulation as a learning and teaching strategy anddevelop scenarios for simulation classes.
1.7 Reviews and validates clinical competencies together with peernurse educators, nursing leaders, unit educators and preceptors.1.8Serves as the resource person for continuing professional developmentactivities, including workshops, seminars, and conferences.2 . Pre-Professional Education
2.1 Develops, plans, delivers and evaluates orientation programmefor nursing students in line with the requirement of both academicinstitution and Jiahui Health
2.2 Assists in liaising with Academic Institutions on curricular andclinical performance issues
2.3 Guides and coaches UNE and preceptors to provide effectiveclinical supervision and preceptorship3. Clinical Practice Standard
3.1 Reviews to ensure that all competency checklists areup-to-date and provides necessary training for practice changes
3.2 Plays the role of resource person for nurses who encounterdifficulties in the care delivery in own professional specialty 4.Professional Development
4.1 Serves as role model for personal professional development,particularly in self-directed learning
EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 1.Fluent oralcommunication with patients and other staffs in Chinese 2. Nursing Practice License (local or oversees) 3. Have more than 5 years of working experience in nursing (Required) 4. Bedside teaching or preceptorship experience (Required) 5.Teaching materials development experience (Preferred) 6. Good interpersonal skills (Required) 7.Good communication and articulation skills (Required) 8.Good attentive listening skills (Required) 9.Good coordinating and organizing skills (Required) 10. Expert in own practice area (preferred)
EDUCATION: 1. Bachelor degree in nursing or above is a must 2. Education or teaching related qualification/certification is preferred
