GENERAL SUMMARY/OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Summarize the nature and level ofwork performed.



Perform all clerical duties in the department to maintain an organizedworking environment, and allow medical staff to focus on patient care.He or she also maintains a line of communication between the patient andclinical staff.



PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Manage the telephone line and assist in screening incoming calls whennurses are involving in patient care.



-Register patients, prepare medical records, X-ray films, and otherrelated medical documentation.

-Perform all clerical functions and duties, such as answering phones,making copies, scheduling appointments and maintaining supplies

-Assist nurse to complete patient visited. Prepare admission andtransfer patient issue etc. accordingly

-Maintain good communication with patients, nurses, physician and alliedhealth professionals.

-Any other duties as assigned when needed.





Perform all clerical duties in the Department



1. Skills Excellent customer service skill.



-Good phone manners.

-Able to handle multi-task and remain calm, patient, and in control;unshaken by medical scenarios (will be stationed in the department);Caring in nature.

-Good spoken and written in English and Chinese.

-Team player/worker, be flexible and able to work withmulti-nationalities and all levels of staff



2. Knowledge: Skill attained through formal and experiential knowledge.



-Good command of both English and Chinese.

-Computer Skills-Proficient in basic computer skills including e-mail,MS programs.

-Good understanding in the operation of the department, clinics and hospital.

-Understand basic medical terminology
