岗位职责: Examines, diagnoses, and treats illnesses and injuries in the acute caresetting. Provides immediate diagnosis and resuscitation care forlife-threatening conditions, and directs the provision of such care inthe prehospital setting. Provides diagnosis and care on the basis ofmedical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests. Providessupportive care to patients with serious medical and surgical conditionsuntil the care of that patient can be assumed by the appropriatespecialist for that condition. Provides definitive or interim care forconditions that, while not life-threatening, cause discomfort or risk ofworsening to the extent that such care cannot be reasonably delayeduntil the next available access into a more appropriate source for care. Functions as the prehospital care provider and supervisor in disasterand mass casualty situations, and provides triage expertise andimmediate care skills at the hospital access level. Provides training. Provides training and supervision of nonphysicianhealth care personnel in aspects of prehospital and hospital life-savingcare. Provides training to medical and nursing personnel in aspects ofresuscitations, including identification and treatment of cardiac,traumatic, and infectious emergencies Provides cross coverage during evenings for inpatient internal medicineward cases.. Provides emergency coverage for resuscitation of adult hospitalizedpatients on a 24 x 7 basis. Will agree to serve on at least one hospital/departmental committee Works on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other emergency medicine physicians and Department Chairperson Will work closely with the Department Chairperson in supportingdepartmental goals May be granted additional responsibilities based on consultation withDepartment Chairperson. 任职资格: Job Competency: During employee’s probation evaluation, employee’s performance will beevaluated from 6 aspects: Quality of work, Working attitude, Attendance,Communication, Knowledge of job, Competency against performanceobjectives. Education and/or Experience: Doctor of medicine degree (or equivalent) from an approved school of medicine Preferred: Completion of residency training in Emergency Medicine at ahospital and program acceptable to the Department Chairperson and ChiefMedical Officer. Acceptable: Significant experience working inemergency medicine. Minimum 3-5 years experience post-residency in the clinical arena preferred Language Skills: Fluency in English Required Fluency in Mandarin a preferred Fluency in German and/or French a plus.
