1. Examines, diagnoses, and treats acute and chronic mentaldiseases and traumas of infants and children into young adulthood inboth the inpatient and outpatient setting.
2. Prepares and reviews case histories and obtains data throughinterviews.
3. Interprets test results and evaluates examination findings.Conducts ward rounds and prescribes therapy. Administers and prescribestreatment such as antibiotics, drugs, and compresses.
4. Determines need for and assists in specialized medical care andtreatment. May be granted additional privileges based on documented proficiency
5. Will agree to serve on at least one hospital/clinic committee.
6. Works on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other pediatricians and Department Chairperson.
7. Will work closely with the Department Chairperson in supportingdepartmental goals.
8. May be granted additional responsibilities based on consultationwith Department Chairperson.
9. Ensure current best practice and professional standards ofclinical care are being met
10. Provide direct clinical care as well as clinical consultationacross the organization and in the community relating to Specialized Services
11. Promote the ongoing development and implementation of policiesand procedures that guide and support the provision of quality clinicalcare in Specialized Services
12. Provide expert direction to physicians, teams and individualclinicians regarding the entire continuum of care
EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 经验,技能及能力要求:
*Board Certified/Board Eligible (or equivalent) in Psychiatry.
*Doctor of medicine degree from an approved school of medicine.
*Completion of residency training in Psychiatry at a hospital andprogram acceptable to the Departmental Chairperson and Chief Medical Officer.
* Minimum 6 years of clinical experience.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY 语言要求:
