Pain management: 1. New patient consults, treatment planning and follow up.
2. Treat patients as needed
3. Administer joint injections, neurological testing, nerve block,medication management as needed
4. Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations todiagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
5. Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimensto treat identified and documented medical conditions.
6. Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patientsand ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment.
7. Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that mayimprove their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing.
8. Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoingquality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infectioncontrol standards.
9. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal andstate health information privacy laws.
10. Record complete, timely and legible medical records.
Clinical anesthesia: 1. Pre-anesthesia interview and evaluation, take patient’s consent.
2. Performing anesthesia /sedation
3. Post-operative pain management.
4. Follow up after anesthesia/sedation
5. Documentation.
Other Duties Performed:
1. Anesthesia consultations.
2. Intubations outsides the operating room.
3. Lumber puncture outsides the operating room.
4. Deep vein or artery puncture outsides the operating room.
Qualifications任职资格:
1. Certificate of qualified doctor
Doctor practice license
2. Medical degree (or equivalent) from an approved school of medicine.
3. Completion of residency training at a hospital and program acceptableto the Departmental Chairperson and Chief Medical Officer
4. Minimum 5 years experience post-residency in the clinical arena preferred
5. Fluent Chinese is required. Fluent English is prefered.
