Job Summary: To lead medical department (including physicians,nursing,allied healthand medical affairs) to achieve clincal objectives of Shanghai Parkway Hospital.
Key Accountabilities: 1.Effectively communicate the company vision, mission & values tothe physician population and to ensure their participation in hospitaldevelopment efforts 2.Lead Physician Recruitment efforts and build a qualified physician team 3.Provide leadership among the physicians and to ensure doctors arecompliant with all hospital standards in both clinical and service areas 4.Ensures that the system’s overall clinical policies and procedures arein place and in accordance to safety and quality standards 5.Work actively with Business Development to ensure that the hospital’sclinical programs are properly developed in terms of areas to build andto promote. 6.Ensure that leadership is provided in all medically related committeeseither as the Lead or as a Member 7.Ensures all medical departments prepare and keep within budget 8.Prepares Hospital and all its related clinical departments forinternational accreditation such as JCI 9.Plans strategy in clinical matters as well as does annual planning formedical training 10.Designs, implements, leads and/or supports patient satisfactioninitiatives such as patient journey optimization, complaintmanagement,patient engagement in quality & safety committees. 11.Fosters continuous improvement culture to achieve value drivenhealthcare delivery in sense of achieving better desired outcomes and/orlower costs. 12.Secures every position to be utilized with operational efficiency andby top of their licenses / qualifications. 13.Represents the institution in local/internationalcongress/symposium/media and community outreach programs etc. in linewith company policies in the best possible way as an ambassador.
Qualifications: 1. Post Graduate Medical degree and training required,over ten years ofprogressively more responsible experience, at least five years of whichis in a leading role in the Chinese healthcare environment, supported bya demonstrated record of achievement and administrative responsibility. 2.Able to lead teams in planning future strategies,academic developmentand implement new initiatives. 3.Reputable in profession and able to attract physicians to practice at Parkway. 4.lead teams effectively to achieve department / facility goals 5.Able to understand, project budgets as well understand hospital financials 6.Able to lead doctors to excellence and identify opportunities for improvements 7.Able to understand, put in place, implement and monitor mechanisms toensure clinical quality and benchmarks 8.Able to lead the organization to put in place a system by which theorganization will constantly improve its operations – to deliver bettervalue to patients
