DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 工作职责: 1.Patient Care Delivery - General 1.1 Assess patients and escalate based on organization protocol 1.2 Identify patients' age-specific needs 1.3 Plan care based on patients' needs 1.4 Monitor patients for changes in status and identify early warning signs 1.5 Perform procedures based upon patients' clinical status 1.6 Collect specimens for laboratory tests 1.7 Administer medications related to Dentistry excluding narcotics byvarious routes 1.8 Monitor and evaluate patients' vital signs, and identify earlywarning signs 1.9 Document patients' medical histories, assessment findings, treatmentplans, interventions, outcomes, or plan revisions 2.Patient Care Delivery – Specialty 2.1.Identify dental equipment, assist in cleaning and maintenance 2.2.Identify and sterilize dental instruments appropriately to ensure ingood function and ready for use 2.3.Identify dental materials, and prepare the materials for treatment rooms 2.4.Assist in ensuring patient comfort during dental procedures 2.5.Assist in the correct procedure for dental radiography andLaboratory 2.6.Assist the hygienist or therapist with dental cleaning or preventiontreatment independently 2.7.Assist the dentists or therapist with dental general treatment under supervision 3.Quality and Safety 3.1Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying withprocedures, rules, and regulations 3.2Undertake measures to maintain a safe environment for patient care 3.3Maintain patient's confidentiality 3.4Build rapport with patients and families 3.5Advocate for patients' and families' needs 4.Professional Development 4.1.Maintain and enhance professional and technical competency byattending educational activities and participating in professional societies 4.2.Fulfill CNE requirement of attaining at least 30 hours ofprofessional learning related to own practice area 5.Perform any other duties as assigned.
