岗位职责: 1. Examines, diagnoses, and treats acute and chronic diseases andinjuries within the scope of Family Medicine in both the outpatient andinpatient setting (optional). Prepares and reviews case histories andobtains data through interviews. Examines patients and determines x-rayexaminations and clinical laboratory tests required. Interprets testresults and evaluates examination findings. Conducts ward rounds(optional) and prescribes therapy. Administers and prescribes treatmentsuch as antibiotics, drugs, and compresses. Performs minor surgicalprocedures. Determines need for and assists in specialized medical careand treatment. May be granted additional privileges based on documentedproficiency.
