Description A postdoctoral fellow position is available to study how aberrations ofpathways that normally control embryonic patterning contribute totumorigenesis. Our laboratory primarily focuses on elucidating the rolesand mechanisms of homeobox genes in regulating tumor lineage-specificityand tumor progression (Nat Med 11:531; Cancer Res 66:889; Am J Pathol 170:1594).
Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree and a research background intranscriptional regulation, chromatin modification, celldifferentiation, developmental biology and/or stem cell biology.Expertise in molecular biology, mammalian tissue culture, and animaltumor models is essential. Strong oral and written communication skillsare required.
