MicroVention is a rapidly growing medical device company that is pioneering the development of catheter-based technologies for the endovascular treatment of peripheral and cerebral vascular diseases. 
Today, MicroVention is focused on proprietary technologies that provide therapeutic advantages for cerebral aneurysm treatment in a minimally invasive platform. The company is currently marketing two families of products: MicroPlex? Coil System and the HydroCoil Embolic System, its next-generation endovascular coil system. Recently launched in early 2004 were the MicroPlex XT, a unique stretch-resistant and conformal platinum coil, and the HydroCoil 10 Embolic System, a stretch-resistant and highly flexible coil for small aneurysms. 
Headquartered in Tustin, California, Microvention products are sold through their direct sales force in the U.S., Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom and through distributors worldwide.
