The Department of Urology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is looking for an outstanding postdoctoral fellow to work in the laboratory of Dr. Sunil Sudarshan. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in a biomedical science and should be familiar with molecular and cellular biology methodologies. The candidate should have no more than three years of post-graduate research experience, demonstrated excellence in project management and time management, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Only candidates who are US citizens or permanent residents will be considered according to NIH requirements for training grants. Candidates not meeting these requirements need not apply. Research in the laboratory is focused on signaling mechanisms in renal cancer.
The selected applicant is expected to conduct experiments, present research at meetings and publish data in high-quality scientific journals.
