Opportunity for a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher in a cancer biology laboratory focused on basic and translational research towards developing chemopreventive and chemotherapeutic strategies based on novel insights into the cancer cell cycle. A Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology, with a concentration on cancer cell signaling, and animal experience including xenograft, orthotropic and/or transgenic models is a must. Applicant must have a sophisticated understanding of cellular and molecular biology techniques and targeted cancer therapy demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications. Effective written and oral communication skills are amongst the essential criteria. Demonstrated expertise in techniques including confocal microscopy, animal genotyping, immunohistochemistry are a must. Should be able to work fairly independently and manage daily research projects. Will take a lead role in the design of experiments, analysis of data, writing of manuscripts, and presentation of work at institutional and national meetings.
