Postdoctoral positions available in pharmaceutical immunology
Postdoctoral positions are currently available at National Taiwan University in Taipei, TAIWAN to study the immune response to vaccine adjuvants and ligands of nuclear hormone receptors. Research is focused on transcriptional regulation of the development of hematopoietic cells, employing the techniques of nanotechnology, immunology, molecular and cellular biology in the animal models, with particular interest in the differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells and leukocyte trafficking.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. with a strong background in nanotechnology and immunology, and fewer than four years of postdoctoral experience. The successful applicant is expected to have high motivation with strong communication and writing skills, and be capable of working independently. Publication in basic immunology is required, and experience with polychromatic flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, culturing primary cells, and in vivo work with animal models is highly desirable. Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience.
