Baylor Institute for Immunology Research (BIIR) in Dallas, TX has positions available for postdoctoral researchers. BIIR is a world-recognized translational immunology research facility with sixteen faculty and around one hundred members devoted to quickly moving discoveries 'from the bench to the bedside'. BIIR has programs in dendritic cell biology, cancer, autoimmune diseases (including lupus, juvenile arthritis, diabetes & psoriasis), infectious diseases (including avian influenza & HIV), transplantation immunology, bioinformatics and vaccine development for cancer and infectious diseases. An immediate need is for postdoctoral fellows to fill our expanding HIV vaccine initiative that has recently received new funding. We are also seeking postdocs for our bioinformatics and genomics program.

BIIR is supported by grants from the Alliance for Lupus Research, the Dana Foundation, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, NCI, NIAID and NIAMS, including a U19 multicenter grant from the NIAID for Immunology and Biodefense as well as a P50 grant from NIAMS that has recently established a Center for Lupus Research at BIIR.
