job description:

Three postdoctoral positions are available immediately in an enzymology laboratory to elucidate the kinetic mechanisms of polymerization catalyzed by human and viral DNA/RNA polymerases, and to kinetically characterize enzymes involved in bio-fuel synthesis. Background in enzyme kinetics (stopped-flow and rapid chemical quench measurements, data analysis, etc.), biophysics, protein purification, recombinant DNA techniques, computational chemistry is preferred. An important criterion for selection will be the ability of the desired individual to pursue independent research in an active multi-disciplinary setting.
