A postdoctoral position is available in a project on combinatorial cancer therapies, with a special focus on the interaction between metabolism and signal transduction pathways. The project involves close collaborations with apoptosis groups at the Burnham Institute, systems biology and control theory experts at nearby University of California, San Diego (UCSD), control physicists at MSU and clinicians working with childhood leukemias at UCSD. The postdoc will have access to advanced high-throughput automated technology for biological experimentation and will utilize data from omics measurements (metabolomics and microarrays) as part of an interdisciplinary team.
