Qualifications:
—PhD in bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science or related fields;
—Familiarity with molecular biology and genomics;
—Strong programming skills (R, C++, Python);
—proficiency in microarray software Bioconductor, dChip, and GenePattern.
Working at the interface of biology, statistics and computing, the candidate will analyze high-throughput gene expression microarray data in cancer genomics. The goal is to develop novel data analysis algorithms and software and to identify genomics signatures in cancer patients and tumor-bearing mice.
