Postdoctoral Positions in Small Animal Imaging and Biomarker Development

Job Description:

The University of Massachusetts Medical School has two immediate postdoctoral openings. We will recruit a scientist with interest and aptitude in small animal camera use to assume daily responsibility for quality assurance of microPET/SPECT/CT and optical cameras and user training/supervision. As a member of the Laboratory for Biomarker Development, s/he will also conduct independent research. We will also recruit a scientist holding a doctorate in disciplines useful in the development of biomarkers such as radiopharmaceutical chemistry, molecular biology, optical imaging, early clinical trials, etc. A track record in biomarker development would be highly advantageous. Both individuals will join a multidisciplinary team emphasizing bench and bedside research in molecular imaging of cancer, infections and other diseases. The Laboratory is well funded through multiyear NIH grants. Salaries will be consistent with NIH guidelines.
