An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available immediately to develop and test nonviral gene delivery systems. The project aims to deliver plasmid DNA to animal to express therapeutic proteins. The position requires a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related discipline with experience in molecular biology and cell biology. Demonstrated expertise in cloning and construction of plasmid DNA, protein expression and purification, and site directed mutagenesis are essential.
