Job Description:

A postdoctoral fellow/Research assistant position is available at the Department of Biological Sciences, Columbia University to study the mechanism of epigenetic regulation. Our lab is focused on studying the regulation of histone lysine methylation by SET domain proteins, and effector proteins that recognize methylated histones. We have extensive experience in these areas and have generated many high-impact publications. The successful candidate will be eligible for subsidized Columbia University housing. Experience in molecular biology, biochemistry or yeast genetics is desired.
