Job Description:
Across Barriers GmbH an international acting contract researchorganization offers a wide range of services in the field of preclinicaldevelopment, biopharmaceutics, (bio-) analytics and formulationdevelopment. We forge successful partnerships with companies of allsizes in different sectors of the pharmaceutical, cosmetical, chemicaland biotechnology industries. Job Typ: Term contract (1.5 years)
Research project:
European Project funded by EC. The general objective of this project isto elucidate basic molecular, cellular and tissuerelated mechanismsinvolved in the generation of various acute and chronic pulmonarydiseases to generate an integrative understanding of pulmonarypathophysiology. The final goal is to define and pre-validate reliablein vitro endpoints parameters for acute and chronic pulmonary toxicity testing.
Requirements:
A Ph.D degree in cell biology or biochemistry, pharmacokinetics,pharmacology or systems biology related fields, with
more than 4 years research experience (including thesis).
A strong expertise in cell cultures including primary cell culturemethods as well as bioanalytical methods is required.Further expertise wanted:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly oral and writtencommunication skills (in English).
The candidate must be a citizen from outside Germany or she/he shouldstay no longer than one year in Germany.
