Position:

Post-doctoral Fellow to study inflammatory-mediated neurodegenerative processes

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral fellow to study inflammatory-mediated neurodegenerative processes underlying diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis and other neurodegenerative diseases. Eligible candidates will be involved in an exciting area of research with clinical relevance.

Projects will be developed with a multidisciplinary approach involving the use of molecular, cell biology and nanotechnology techniques.
Previous experience in molecular biology, cell biology and/or neurosciences is required.

Preferred starting date: September 2007

Location: Laboratory of Neuroimmunology, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Eligibility Requirements: qualified applicants should have a PhD or Specialty Degree in related areas, demonstrated research productivity and no more than 2 years of post-doctoral experience.
