Job Description:

A post doctoral position is immediately available at the Institute of Neuroscience of Montpellier (France) to start a project on molecular mechanisms of asymmetric division in normal and tumoral neural stem cells. We are looking for a highly-motivated candidate, ideally with a background in the stem cell/nervous system development field and skills in cell culture, cytometry, DNA chip analysis and cell imaging. The candidate should be ready to interact in a multidisciplinary context. The funding (INCA 1600 euros /month net salary) is for 18 months and is to be started rapidly (autumn 2007).
