A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the Department of Integrative Biology and Pharmacology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual with a recent PhD degree in biomedical sciences and solid expertise in molecular cell biology, biochemistry and/or cancer biology. The successful candidate will participate in projects focused on understanding the roles of phospholipid signaling and metabolism in breast cancer cell progression and smooth muscle cell migration. Training and experience in basic molecular cell biology is required. Experience with animal handling and mouse genetics is a plus, but not essential. The successful applicant will be working in an active research department within the renowned Texas Medical Center (TMC ) and gaining exposure to cutting-edge cell biology technologies.
