Research Centre for Toxic Compounds in the Environment (RECETOX) is a research and educational facility of the Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. Research activities are focused on relationships between chemical compounds in the environment and their biological effects.
Description

RECETOX ( http://www.recetox.muni.cz ) is offering a postdoctoral positions for 30 months for the sub-projects: (1) “Emerging Environmental Pollutants” Objectives: Development of sampling and analytical methods of analysis for emerging pollutants, their application in the field studies, assessment of the fate and transport of environmental contaminants including data interpretation and modeling. (2) “Human Exposure to Organic Contaminants” Objectives: Development of analytical techniques for determination of emerging organic pollutants in abiotic and biotic matrices, assessment of the human exposure pathways and bioaccumulation processes, role of the indoor environments and food chains in the exposure assessment and assessment of the human health risks. (3)“Environmental Toxicology of Organic Pollutants and their Mixtures” Objectives: Development and use of bioanalytical tools for mechanistic toxicological studies and risk assessment of emerging organic pollutants, natural toxins and their mixtures in complex environmental matrices including indoor environment.
