The project focuses on the development of injectable hydrogels for spinal cord regeneration. Growth factors and cells will be incorporated in hydrogels and their effect on spinal cord regeneration will be tested.
Description

Candidates must have a PhD in health sciences. An experience in tissue engineering and with stem cells and/or hydrogels is highly desirable. Expertise with animal surgery, histology, and stem cell cultures is favoured. Good knowledge of French or English is essential. Candidates should be highly motivated and able to work under their own initiative. Researchers older than 32 (35 for MD) and with 5 years of experience post thesis are not eligible. The post is available for a fixed term period of 22 months. The appointment will be on a fixed salary of 38000
