Job Description

A postdoctoral position is available at the NC Oral Health Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for a motivated individual interested in elucidating the role of human and virally-derived microRNA in oral inflammation. The candidate will join a vibrant research team in a new state of the art research facility. Our studies require an individual with a Ph.D. in immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related fields. Experience with miRNA, cell culture, cloning, transfection, lentiviral vectors, FACS analysis, PCR, microarrays, in-situ hybridization, immunohistochemistry is preferred. The position is open to US citizens or individuals with permanent residency status only.
