Post-doctoral positions in the area of metabolic engineering, systems microbiology, molecular biology, enzyme and genetic engineering is available at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry, University of Toronto. This position is a part of collaborative research project with Industry. Candidates with experience in any of molecular biology, protein engineering, promoter/genetic engineering of yeast, fungal genetics, metabolic engineering, biochemical assays fermentation, and flux analysis are encouraged to apply for this interdisciplinary project involving active collaboration with microbiologists, biochemists and engineers.

The position requires a Ph.D. in microbiology, biochemistry, biochemical engineering or related discipline. The initial appointment term is for a year with the possibility of longer term extension.
