Description
A postdoctoral position is available at the Knapp Center for lupus and Immunology Research at the University of Chicago to dissect mechanisms that regulate tolerance and generation of autoantibodies in mouse models of autoimmune diseases. Our research areas include B cell and T cell tolerance, memory B cell/plasma cell development and T-B cell interactions. The studies will involve molecular, cellular and genetic approaches.
A Ph.D. or M.D. degree is required. Experience with murine models, flow cytometry, and molecular techniques is prefered. The successful candidate will interact closely with the PI and scientists of the Committee on Immunology (http://biomed.uchicago.edu/common/programs/immunology/immunology.html)
