A postdoctoral research fellowshipis available, with a focus on genetics, epigenetics, and functionalgenomics in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, in a productivelaboratory at the University of Michigan. Successful candidates musthold a PhD in genetics or Immunology. Applicants with experience in DNAmethylation are preferred. The applicant is expected to complement ourstudies in understanding the functional significance of DNA methylationchanges and genetic susceptibility loci in lupus and Behcet’s diseaseupon disease susceptibility, using in vitro and in vivo assays.Applicants must be within 1-2 years of the time they obtained their PhDand must demonstrate a clear interest in pursuing an independent careerin science.
