Description
We seek postdoctoral scientist candidates who have expertise in the fields of (1) molecular biology – structural biology of proteins, (2) peptide and peptidomimetics chemistry and (3) biophysical studies of protein interactions. We use a multidisciplinary strategy that includes mutagenic modification of protein targets, structure-based and phage library approaches to antagonist design, surface plasmon resonance interaction analysis and other biophysical methods for mechanism-or-action studies.
Candidates should have a proven ability to investigate such problems as protein structure-function relationships at a molecular/biophysical level and peptidomimetic design/synthesis, and an interest to study structure-based protein interaction and antagonism mechanisms in disease.
Contact
Interested candidates should send resumes and names/contact information for 3 referees to the address below.
