Description

A postdoctoral position is available in nonlinear optics and optical materials.

The job is devoted to investigations and fabrication of structured nonlinear optical materials, particularly periodically poled ferroelectrics. A background in one or several of the subjects is desired; material physics, nanoscience, optics and/or lasers physics. Job tasks will involve clean-room work with lithography, chemical processing, AFM and more. Characterization of material will involve dielectric, electric and optical spectroscopy. Device and application areas are nonlinear photonic crystals, ultrafast lasers and parametric devices.
