Description
A Post-Doctoral Position in biological mass spectrometry is available at the University of Ottawa. The proteomic group at the Ottawa Institute of Systems Biology is focused on the mapping of protein interactions, the study of the lipidome of human diseases, and the development of novel technologies. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in these different studies. We are fully equipped to do molecular biology, cell biology, protein biochemistry, mass spectrometry and bioinformatics.
The OISB provides a highly collaborative research environment with ample opportunities to interact with leading experimental and computational biologists (www.oisb.ca). The candidates must have a Ph.D. in analytical/bioanalytical chemistry or a related field with experience in mass spectrometry and chromatography. Expertise in bioinformatics, lipid or protein chemistry would be a plus.
