Job Description

This is a full time position to work in molecular pathology of lung cancer using molecular biology, immunohistochemistry and histopathology tools.

Essential Functions:
Evaluation of basic lung cancer histopathological features of human and mice tissues.

Selection of tissues for tissue microarays (TMA) preparation.

Evaluation of fluorescent and non-fluorescent immunohistochemistry using image analysis on TMA and whole sections.

FISH evaluation

Laser capture microdissection of tissues

DNA and RNA extraction from microdissected and non-microdissected frozen and formalin-fixed tissues.

PCR for mutational, methylation and gene expression analyses.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have experience in histopathology and immunohistochemistry.

Preferred: Experience in molecular biology, tissue microdissection and cell culture will be an asset.
