Description

Based in the Institute for Cell and Molecular Biosciences, (5/5* RAE 2001), you will join a laboratory studying metalloprotein structure and function. The project will focus on the importance of metal-binding loops and the protein scaffold for structure and physiological function (for example see Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 2006, 103, 7258-7263 and J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2007, 129, 709-719). Motivated scientists with a strong background in protein biochemistry and engineering and experience with spectroscopic techniques including NMR are encouraged to apply. The post is available immediately for 12 months.
