ProtoLife Srl is an international biotechnology company that is developing automated, high-throughput methods for designing and optimizing complex chemical systems. We are searching for a Chief Chemist that aspires to lead an expanding international research program in Synthetic and Molecular Biology. Prospective applicants should have a Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar with laboratory experience at the postdoc level. Applicants with expertise in fluorescence techniques, protein engineering and directed evolution are encouraged to apply. The selected applicant will be expected to lead a team of experimentalists as well as interact closely with a team of statistical modeling experts. ProtoLife encourages publication in high profile journals as well as the development of IP. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
