The Leibniz Institute for Age Research, Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI) inJena – research group “Membrane trafficking and Alzheimer´s Disease” –invites applications for a
Postdoctoral position (BAT-O IIa / E 13)
for a DFG-funded project on Notch signal transduction in neurons.
We are working on intracellular protein transport in neurons and on themolecular basis of Alzheimer´s Disease (seehttp://www.fli-leibniz.de/groups/kaether.php). The FLI offers excellentworking conditions with state-of-the-art methodology and equipment.
We are looking for motivated postdocs who like to work ondisease-relevant projects. The position is available for up to threeyears with possible extension. Highly desirable is experience inadvanced microscopy like confocal, TIRF, live cell imaging and/orexperience in primary neuronal culture.
