Description
The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, acomprehensive NCI designated center on the University of South Floridacampus, is seeking outstanding postdoctoral scientists to participate ina prestigious P01 program project funded by the NCI. The goal of theproject is to use chemical probes to understand signal transductionmechanisms and to discover novel drugs for the treatment of cancer. Theprogram comprises five biology/chemistry projects and state-of-the-artcores for synthetic and computational chemistry providing excitingopportunities for the discovery of new and highly specific inhibitors.
Applicants should have a recent Ph.D. or Masters-level degree insynthetic organic or medicinal chemistry or have submitted their thesis.A background in medicinal or biological chemistry and drug discoverywith experience in parallel synthesis is ideal, but not required.Experience in synthetic organic chemistry is essential. A strong desireand ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment is essential.
