The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Illinois atChicago (UIC) invites applications for a Post-doctoral ResearchAssociate position.
Seeking a highly motivated and independent individual to join ourlaboratory and start at the beginning of 2008. Applicants must possess aPhD with demonstrated experience in molecular biology and proteinbiochemistry which is required to develop a vigorous research project onprotein engineering and drug discovery, utilizing library construction,phage-display, and high-throughput techniques. The position is for oneyear with the possibility of renewing for a second year with acompetitive salary. The position is well suited for someone interestedin biotechnology or the pharmaceutical industry.
