Description
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position with Dr. MarcoBouwkamp at the Molecular Inorganic Chemistry section at the Universityof Groningen. This post is funded by the Dutch Polymer Institute andinvolves the quantity and quality of active sites in immobilized andsolid olefin polymerization catalyst systems (DPI project #639). Theproject will be carried out in collaboration with the research groups ofProf. Vincenzo Busico (University of Naples Federico II) and Prof. Dr.Timothy McKenna (Ecole Supérieur de Chimie, Physique et Electronique de Lyon).
Candidates must hold a Ph. D. in synthetic organometallic chemistry orthe equivalent and should have experience with handling air and moisturesensitive compounds. Especially candidates with a strong connection toolefin polymerization catalysis are encouraged to apply. The post, whichis available immediately, is for a period of 24 months with a startingsalary dependent on experience.
