A 2-years postdoctoral research position is available at the Institute for Research on Cancer and Ageing of Nice (IRCAN ) in South France to investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms of stem and progenitor cell fate using mouse models. In particular, the project involves the use of lineage tracing strategies in genetically modified mice in order to track adult stem cells within the kidney. Experimental approaches include classical cell and molecular biology techniques, and mouse genetics models.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, have a PhD degree, and a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, or mouse genetics and publications in internationally recognized journals. Experience with mammalian cell culture, analysis of transgenic mice, fluorescence/confocal microscopy is strongly preferred.
