Postdoctoral Research positions in Vascular Molecular and Cell Biologyare available in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical CareMedicine at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Ourlaboratory takes a multidisciplinary approach to investigate vascularfunction ranging from molecular analysis of cell signaling mechanisms incultured vascular cells and cell lines to image analysis (multi-photonlaser scanning microscopy) of signaling systems in isolated perfusedarterioles. Major projects are analyzing the molecular and cellularmechanisms contributing to vascular disease (including hypertension,arteriosclerosis and Raynaud`s disease), as well as mechanismsregulating normal vascular function. Enthusiastic qualified applicantsshould have a background in vascular biology, with experience andexpertise in molecular and cell biology. A generous salary and benefitspackage is available to successful applicants.
