Description
Postdoctoral associate positions are available in the areas ofneurobiology and cell biology. The projects focus on the cell biologyand physiological function of an ion channel (Cell 129: 371-383) andseveral other novel proteins in neuronal excitability control byneurotransmitters, rhythmic behavior, neurotoxicity, and cardiacfunction. For one position, demonstrated experiences in molecularbiology, protein chemistry and cell biology are required; familiaritywith ES cell handling and animal genetics (mouse, Drosophila orZebrafish) is desirable. For the other position, patch clamp recordingskill is essential and brain slice experience is a plus. Motivatedcandidates with prior experience as demonstrated by publications areencouraged to send CV, description of research interest and names ofthree references.
