Description

A postdoctoral position is available at the Biozentrum Basel in the field of cellular signaling.

We are interested in the molecular mechanisms of pathogen recognition upon bacterial infection. By using genome wide RNA interference screens and live cell imaging techniques, the goal of the project will be to understand how changes of the host signaling network induced upon Shigella infection control inflammation in epithelial cells.

The position is available as of 1 January 2007.

The salary is in accordance with SNSF regulations.
