Applications are being accepted for a research associate or postdoctoral position at the Stanford Neural Plasticity Lab. The lab has excellent research resources and environment including access to 3T MRI scanner at Stanford Lucas Center, TMS equipment, Neuroscan and spinal cord injury center. Ongoing projects include studies of neuroplasticity after spinal cord injury, sensorimotor physiology and plasticity using FMRI, TMS and Evoked Potentials.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in neuroscience, strong computer skills.
Expertise in MatLab programming is highly desirable but not absolutely required. Previous experience with fMRI or TMS is useful but not absolutely required. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is required. The postdoc will be expected to be able to collect and analyse TMS and fMRI and evoked potential data within weeks of being hired.
The start date can range from Jan 2008. There is guaranteed salary for up to three years.
