We are currently seeking a Post-Doc Fellow, Research. This positionreports to Dr. Sidhartha Tan, M.D., Department of Pediatrics and islocated in Evanston.
# In this role, the Post-Doc Fellow will: Perform all magnetic resonanceimaging and magnetic resonance spectroscopy studies on live animals,tissue and others.
# Assist in animal surgery, flow cytometry and preparation of tissue samples.
# Keep animals healthy and alive during procedures, use sedation and anesthesia.
Our ideal candidate will have:
# PhD
# Expertise in magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy
# Ability to plan, conduct and analyze experiments semi-independentlyinvolving computers and mathematical software such as MATLAB.
# Working knowledge of physics and some biology to conceptualize theneuroscientific questions that are being asked.
