Description
The Institute of Cancer Research The Institute of Cancer Research, oneof the world's leading cancer research centres, is looking for anenthusiastic and motivated person to co-ordinate and manage data from anational phase III trial as part of the Clinical Trials and StatisticsUnit (ICR-CTSU) at its Sutton, Surrey site.
You will be responsible for running a large multicentre randomisedbreast cancer chemotherapy trial. Duties will include:
# co-ordinating and managing data from participating centres;
# liaising with the quality assurance team and managing the trial; and
# promoting the trial to ensure successful recruitment.
Applicants should hold a first degree and an understanding of theprinciples of GCP, Data Protection and the EU Clinical Trials Directive.A proven track record in the organisation or management of randomisedtrials is essential.
Initially this appointment will be on a fixed term contract for 3 years.
