The Postdoctoral Scholar will be responsible for designing, fabricating and characterizing nanophotonic circuits and devices, for use in optical communications and sensing.

Qualified candidates will receive competitive remuneration and should have experience in some or all of the following:

Cleanroom fabrication and metrology (Ebeam lithography, thin film deposition, etching, SEM , AFM , etc.);
Characterization of photonic structures;
Semiconductor materials and optical physics;
Finite differences and finite element modeling;
Strong programing skills (Matlab, etc.); and,
Good interpersonal skills.

The selected candidate must be a self-starter, who is able to work independently and in a team environment.

A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Optics or a related field is required.
