We are seeking a Research Associate in the Department of Cytokine Biology and Cellular Immunology. The successful applicant will be utilising state of the art molecular genetic, genomic and biochemical approaches to study the molecular mechanisms that govern successful inflammatory response. The project will focus on the role of specific NF-kB co-factors in immune response and will be conducted in close collaboration with the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, Oxford University.
You should have a PhD in molecular biology, molecular genetics, biochemistry or similar disciplines. Strong interest in genomic and computational approaches to understanding gene function is essential. Experience with chromatin immunoprecipitation and/or analysis of protein-DNA and protein-protein interactions would be an advantage.
The post will be full-time for 24 months in the first instance.
